Reflection
Life can feel heavy with tasks—groceries, calls, packages, cooking, and the unexpected interruptions that fill a day. Yet even in the midst of weariness, God offers us a strength that is not our own. His joy is not fleeting happiness; it is a deep, abiding gladness that flows from His presence. When we lean into His joy, burdens lighten, and our spirit finds renewal. The world may drain us, but His joy restores us.

Think of joy as a wellspring: it bubbles up even when the surface feels dry. It is a gift that steadies us, lifts us, and reminds us that we are never alone. Tonight, as you lay down after a long day, let His joy be the pillow beneath your head and the strength that carries you into tomorrow.
Prayer
Lord, I thank You for the joy that is found in You alone.
When my body is tired and my mind feels stretched,
let Your joy rise within me.
Strengthen me with gladness,
so that even the smallest tasks are done with a lightened heart.
May Your joy be my song in the morning and my rest at night.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
