January 17: Galatians 1:15-16 - God's Call (Today's Reflection from My Utmost For His Highest)

Daily Bible Verse: Galatians 1:15-16

"But then something happened! For it pleased God in his kindness to choose me and call me, even before I was born! What undeserved mercy! Then he revealed his Son to me so that I could proclaim the Good News about Jesus to the Gentiles. When all this happened to me, I did not rush out to consult with anyone else;"

For it pleased God to choose me and call me...

When God calls you into service, it will eventually become your everyday way of life...it will become second nature for you to serve God. His nature and your nature will become one in service to His higher calling.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, Your Holy Spirit is my comforter, healer, and protector. I praise and thank You. Fill my life with love and devotion for You. In Jesus name, Amen.

Do Not Worry Worry has a way of creeping into our hearts, especially when life feels uncertain. Yet this verse reminds us that we are not meant to carry the weight alone. God’s care is not distant — it is personal, tender, and constant. Every detail of our lives matters to Him. When we release our burdens into His hands, we exchange anxiety for peace.
