You have within you the peace of God—a certainty within your soul that God will reveal what you need to know when it is time to know it. But instead of taking what was rightfully his, Abram stepped back and let Lot choose. Lot picked the greener pastures — the land that looked good, the land that seemed like the obvious blessing. Trust is not passive. It is the daily choice to release your own understanding and lean into God’s steady hand. When you acknowledge Him in the small things, the ordinary things, the confusing things, He shapes your steps with a wisdom you could never manufacture on your own. Let your heart rest in the One who sees the whole path, even when you can only see the next step. Prayer Lord, I trust in You. Shine Your light on my path. Grant me wisdom. Teach me Your ways. Trust in the Lord Proverbs 3:5 is a call to surrender. Trusting the Lord with all our heart means letting go of the need to control or explain everything ourselves. Our understanding is limited, but His wisdom is infinite. When we lean on Him, we find peace even in uncertainty. The soft sage background with blooms and leaves reflects the gentleness of trust — a reminder that God’s guidance is steady and beautiful. Just as flowers rest in the care of the seasons, we too can rest in the care of the Lord. Today, let us choose to trust Him fully, believing that His path is greater than our own. Yet Psalm 46:10 reminds us that silence is sacred — it is the space where God’s presence becomes clear. When we quiet our hearts, we discover that His voice is not drowned out by noise but revealed in peace. The bowed bird statue is a picture of humility and rest. Just as the bird pauses, we too are invited to pause, to breathe, and to remember that God is in control. In the silence, He heals our weary thoughts and renews our strength.
