I look at God’s promises, longing for their fulfillment, but His perspective is far deeper: through His promises, He reveals His ownership of me. If my body is His temple, then nothing in my habits, thoughts, or private choices can remain untouched by His light. Sanctification is not passive; it is the Spirit forming Christ within me, shaping my natural life into spiritual life through obedience.
