Psalm 100:4 invites us to enter God’s presence not with striving, but with gratitude. Thankfulness becomes the doorway, praise the pathway. We do not come before Him because we have earned the right—we come because His goodness has already opened the gate. Gratitude shifts the posture of the heart. It loosens the grip of worry, softens the weight of self‑concern, and turns our attention toward the One who has carried us with mercy. Praise lifts our eyes from what is lacking to the abundance of who God is. To bless His name is to acknowledge His character—steady, faithful, generous, unchanging.
