When He rose from the dead, He did not return to His former earthly life. He rose into a life that had never existed before — a resurrected, glorified life beyond death. Scripture tells us that even during His time on earth as God Incarnate, He had never lived this kind of life. His resurrection was the beginning of something entirely new. And this is the life He now shares with us. When a person truly comes to Christ — when they trust Him, surrender to Him, and receive Him — something real happens within.
