The goal of the call of God is His satisfaction.

Oswald Chambers points out that the service we do for Him is the greatest competitor of our true devotion to Him.

We should be pouring out our lives and investing our total beings to His satisfaction. But it is easier to serve Him than to pour out our lives for Him.

We are not sent to do battle for Him, but to be used by Him in His battles.
