Yet I strayed, wandered off the path, and made many mistakes along the way. And  I looked for love in all the wrong places. Early Marriages At 16, I married an alcoholic and was divorced by 17.  I had a son out of wedlock. I left my mother's house.  At 21, I entered another marriage, but betrayal marked that union. Yet Psalm 46:10 reminds us that silence is sacred — it is the space where God’s presence becomes clear. When we quiet our hearts, we discover that His voice is not drowned out by noise but revealed in peace. The bowed bird statue is a picture of humility and rest. Just as the bird pauses, we too are invited to pause, to breathe, and to remember that God is in control. In the silence, He heals our weary thoughts and renews our strength. Today, let us practice being still — not as an escape, but as an act of trust in the One who holds all things.
