Shared Some burdens are never meant to be carried alone.  Scripture makes a clear distinction: there are burdens that belong to us, and there are burdens that do not. We are never meant to carry the weight of sin, doubt, or self‑condemnation. But there are other burdens God does place on us — responsibilities, callings, assignments, people we are meant to love and serve. These are not meant to crush us. They are meant to be shared. Chambers says “cast your burden,” not throw it away, not ignore it, not pretend it isn’t heavy — but roll it back onto the One who gave it.
