In The Waiting Once you have seen God, you want to keep seeing Him. After tasting His nearness, silence feels like a dry season. You long for the same spiritual connection, the same warmth, the same unmistakable sense of His presence. But God does not work by our emotional cycles. He works by His purpose. And so we endure. We keep walking forward in faith even when heaven feels quiet. While we endure, we still show up. We keep doing the work He has given us, moving as if He is standing in front of us cheering us on — because He is. His silence is not His absence. Nothing you do escapes His eye, and nothing you suffer is wasted. This season will pass. God never wastes effort, and He never arrives late. Reflection There is a quiet place within us that only God can steady. We try to hold ourselves together, to manage our thoughts, our worries, our days — but the soul knows when it is leaning on something too small to carry its weight. Psalm 62:1 reminds us that rest is not something we create; it is something we receive. Salvation, peace, and steadiness come from Him alone. Waiting on God is not passive. It is the soul turning its face toward the One who has already drawn near. It is choosing to breathe slowly, to release what we cannot fix, and to trust that His presence is enough for this moment. In that waiting, our soul remembers where its true home is — held, kept, and restored by the God who saves. Prayer Lord, quiet my heart today.  Let every restless thought settle beneath You...

Daily Bible Verse: Isaiah 50:10 (NLT) "Who among you fears the Lord and obeys his servant? If you are walking in darkness, without a ray of light, trust in the Lord and rely on your God.
