Today's Reading: My Utmost for His Highest
2 Corinthians 1:20
"All the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen ..."
Measured By His Promise
We see ourselves clearly when we measure our spiritual capacity by God’s promises. Jesus’ parable of the talents shows that the Holy Spirit gives us everything needed for the work God assigns. When we look at God’s provision instead of our limitations, we discover that His Spirit is fully able to express His life through us.
The servant in the parable hesitated because he misunderstood his master. We grow steady when we trust that God places us exactly where His Spirit will sustain us. Every promise He gives carries the supply to fulfill it. Our capacity is shaped by His Word, His Spirit, and His faithfulness.
Reflection
When we measure our lives by God’s promises, the entire picture brightens. His Spirit enables, strengthens, and completes the work He begins. The real question is simple: Do we trust the One who lives within us? God always calls us into places where His promises stand firm. He invites us to step forward with confidence in Him.
Worry fades when we remember who He is. Strength flows from the Holy Spirit. Our part is to trust, yield, and abide.
Living This Out
Trusting the Holy Spirit places strength exactly where it belongs — in Him. As we lean into His presence, our posture changes.
Mentally, we agree with God: His Spirit is able. Physically, we become steady and unhurried. Outwardly, we take the next step with quiet confidence.
This is alignment with God — acting because His Spirit is faithful, present, and sufficient.
A Final Reminder
God keeps us steady. He shapes our attitude, steadies our posture, and guards our steps. He carries the weight, holds our world together, and completes what He begins. Our part is simple: abide in Him. And as we abide, He keeps us, corrects us, and carries us.
Breath Prayer
Abiding in YouHe keeps what He begins, and I stay aligned by returning to Him.
