Philippians 4:7

"And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

Reflection

There is a peace God gives that doesn’t follow the rules of understanding. It doesn’t wait for circumstances to settle or for our thoughts to line up neatly. It comes from Christ Himself — steady, guarding, holding both heart and mind when we cannot hold them on our own.

This peace doesn’t explain itself. It simply arrives.
It keeps us when we feel scattered.
It steadies us when we feel fragile.
It surrounds the places inside us that feel exposed or anxious.

We don’t create this peace.
We receive it.
And Christ keeps us in it.

Prayer

Lord, let Your peace rest on my heart and mind today.
Guard the places that feel unsettled, and quiet the thoughts that run ahead of You.
Keep me steady in Christ Jesus, and let Your presence be the peace I cannot explain.
In Jesus' name, Amen.

Ask, and the peace He gives will meet you where you are.
