"And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest."

Reflection

God’s promise to Moses is the same promise He whispers to us in every weary place: “My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.”

Rest is not something we achieve. It is something God gives.

It comes not from having everything settled, but from knowing we are not walking alone.

His presence is the rest.

His nearness is the peace.

And wherever He leads, He carries the weight we cannot.

Prayer

Lord,

thank You for the promise of Your presence.

Where I go today, go with me.

Where I feel the weight of worry,

let Your nearness be my rest.

Quiet my heart, steady my steps,

and let me move through this day

held by the peace only You can give.
